COMPETITION OVERVIEW
Competition Format
This is an open competition, with no elimination. No pre-qualifying is necessary to enter. All teams compete both Saturday & Sunday. The schedule is subject to change or revision to accommodate all teams entered.

Awe-Inspiring Competition Venue
A truely unique, one-of-a-kind competition venue. Not your typical convention center! The venues used for the competition include the Toon Amphitheater which is located inside Universal's Islands of Adventure and the Fear Factor Show Venue. Both amphitheaters are open-air, fully covered venues with stadium seating. The venue may change year to year based on Universal Production needs.
Cheer Floor
Teams will compete on a 54’ wide by 42’ deep carpeted spring floor. The spring floor is placed on a 64 X 48 ft raised stage within the venue.
Dance Floor
The dance floor will be the same as the cheer floor unless dance team registration warrants a dance specific floor. In this case, the floor would be a 40X40 Marley dance floor.
Warm-up Facilities
The warm up area is located in a backlot soundstage. The facility will be equipped with:
A full 54' X 42' spring floor with music system. The floor is identical to the competition floor.
Spring tumble tracks
Stretching mats.
The warm-up facility is for competitors and coaches only.

AWARDS AND RECOGNITION
National Champion Awards
National champion teams will receive:
Full zip up front and back embroidered national champion jackets. Tiny, special needs, collegiate teams do NOT receive jackets
A national champion team trophy
Individual national champion die cast custom medals
A National Champion banner to hang in your facility.
Team Awards
All teams receive a trophy and are announced during awards!
Embroidered Participation Patch
Each competitor will receive a custom designed embroidered patch to commemorate their participation in that years US Spirit National Championships. Each patch includes a heat seal backing so its easy to apply to a garmet or bag! The coach or contact person will receive these during registration.
Cheerleading Worlds Bids
Cheerleading Worlds Bids will be awarded for the 2011 championships. Number of bids TBA. Bid winning teams are selected from all eligible teams based on score, eligibility, bids already received and more. No divisions are guaranteed bids. Eligible divisions will be posted here when they are announced for the 2011 championship.
